I’m so Web 2.0
A World Wide Web log . . . Does anyone else find it odd that individuals have zealously guarded their diaries and journals from prying eyes throughout time and, yet, with the phenomenon of the Internet, we now publish the events of our lives and our thoughts to the world? I tend to find blogs narcissistic, but who doesn’t have a little bit of narcissim in them? When I asked a friend/blogger why people blog, he retorted with, “Why do people write books?”
I imagine the nature of the content and the motivations differ from blogger to blogger, but no matter. With this post, Web 2.0 has officially crossed the chasm to reach this early majority member, and I’m happy to join the crowd.
